BOURDON Spring manometer – STANDARD
The BOURDON manometer is a professional measuring instrument destined for the detection of differential pressure of GASEOUS and LIQUID FLUIDS. In its standard version, this device is used to measure pressure in non-aggressive, non-viscous, non-crystallizing environments.
The Bourdon pressure gauge is comprised of a folded oval-section tube that acts as a sensitive element to detect the fluid’s pressure. The spring that results from the tube’s rotation, is receptive to the fluid and creates a movement when it is in contact with either gasses or liquids. The movement, proportional to the pressure measured, is then transmitted to a dial and a hand, and is reported based on the units of measure used.
The Bourdon manometers are usually employed in thermohydraulics to measure and control hot water, in the hydraulics sector, in the naval industry and for filtration.
These devices are available in two options: a DRY version and a version WITH GLYCERIN, useful if employed in environments subject to intense vibrations.
