It can be used at various stages of the dairy chain process but is mainly chosen for temperature detection for curdling hard cheeses at around 50°C. Thanks to the calibration (Offset) function, it can also be used in processes involving higher temperatures.

The OFFSET function offers the possibility to calibrate this device easily and directly to always have a perfect and accurate reading.

The device

  • BODY made of plastic material suitable for food use. It is technically processed to make it sturdy and reliable even in the possible presence of shocks or falls.
  • PRESSURE CLOSURE system that ensures IP65 level of safety and tightness.
  • CASE made of polished stainless steel coupled with polyester FRONT.
  • SHELL with probe made entirely of 316 stainless steel. Features tapering from the tip where the sensor is located. This allows for fast response to temperature change with a very limited margin of error.
  • WIDE LCD DISPLAY that allows for fast reading of values even in the presence of direct steam.
  • POWER SUPPLY via two 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries. Device autonomy guaranteed for 12 months with thermometer always on.
  • UNIT OF MEASURE, available in both Centigrade and Réaumur degrees.
