The LY14 absolute and differential pressure transmitter is designed to measure the pressure of liquids, gases and vapours in harsh and industrial environments. It converts the pressure signal received from the transducer into an electrical signal proportional to the applied pressure. The objective is to provide continuous pressure monitoring for signalling significant changes in the process.

The HART digital communication system enables the device to transmit pressure data to automatic systems, thus facilitating remote control and diagnosis of the system.
