How does a pressure transmitter work?

The transmitter detects the pressure of a fluid through a sensor that can use different technologies.
Once measured, the pressure is converted into a proportional electrical signal, usually in milliamperes (mA) or voltage (V). This data represents the detected pressure in a format that other devices and systems can also use.
The converted signal is then transmitted to control or recording devices so that they can monitor the pressure constantly or trigger automatic actions based on variations.

Applications of a pressure transmitter
