Processing

Forged plates are metal plates in which characters, numbers, and/or logos are coined (i.e., embossed) directly onto metal by means of a hot stamping process.

They are generally made from durable metal materials such as aluminum, brass, ZAMAK, or stainless steel, and can be used in a wide range of industrial applications, including equipment and machinery identification, signage, and product and item labeling.

Customization

Made in different shapes and sizes, the plaques can have customized finishes through oxidation processes, painting and diamond-plating the raised areas of the material. Besides giving these plates their typical gold and silver colors, oxidation also provides a protective coating effect when applied to aluminum.
