We’re proud to announce that for a few months now, our company has had the pleasure of working with the Official Racing Team of the University of Bologna.
As motorsport fans and above all as a company that’s always ready to rise to new challenges, we believe that this partnership will be a clear example of how the worlds of academia and industry can work together to meet common goals and promote growth in the industry.
Ecometeo Italia is ready to hit the track alongside new engineers from the University of Bologna, for premier systems and cars.
How we support UniBo
We launched our partnership with the Official Racing Team of the University of Bologna (UniBo) by supplying the UniBo Motorsport logo printed by our Industrial Screen Printing Division.
We’ve also supplied all manner of measuring instruments to check pressure, flow and temperature of both the vehicles (cars and motorbikes) and systems used by the University of Bologna’s Official Racing Team, working hand in hand with them to accomplish exciting new objectives.
We strive to nurture the growth of the next generation of engineers by providing the right tools.
Why we decided to support the project
This partnership marks a major milestone in our dedication to developing innovative state-of-the-art solutions in the motorsport industry.
It will give us the chance to work on ambitious projects where we can develop new products, streamline production processes and create increasingly precise and reliable measuring instruments.
We decided to start this partnership because we strongly believe in the next generation and above all so that we can support the training of young engineers and technicians, giving them the opportunity to put their know-how into practice in the highly competitive real-world context of motorsport.
Our first competition
Our 2024 Formula Student season got underway with impressive results for our team. On 26 July 2024, we hit the track with Athena in Spielberg at Formula Student Austria. UniBo Motorsport’s prototype came 13th, passing all the technical checks with flying colours.
This result just goes to show that our business plan, cost analysis and the technologies we use – not to mention our participation in competitions in various disciplines – are paying off!
Our first competition as a partner of the racing team was a thrilling experience for all our staff, who had worked hard in the months leading up to it to give the University of Bologna’s young engineers the best possible support, identifying dedicated solutions with and for them.
If you’re interested in our Formula Student journey, keep following us and get in touch with our team to share your project: we’ll be delighted to hear what you have to say!
