They are mounted on the upper surface of an instrument panel or of equipment that allows the user to interact with the equipment and transmit all the selected commands. The keypads may be complementary or used as an alternative to the main control panel.

Materials and composition
- Membrane keypads are made of polyester. Polyester is extremely durable and guarantees a long lifespan, remaining unaffected over time.
- The outer part, on the other hand, is made of anti-reflective and scratch-resistant materials.
- The graphic element, which must perfectly match the mechanical or electronic part that sends commands to the machine, can be made with screen printing or digital printing.
- We create custom keypads not only in design, but also in shape, size, thickness and tactile effect.

The membrane keyboard can be mounted on printed circuit boards. This type of keypad is particularly suitable for illuminated keypads and devices with high electrical voltages required for mounting additional components, since the circuit cannot be placed directly under the screen and requires a separate membrane.
